Caponapoli: The meandering slope that leads to the place of the gods and the gentle descent to that of men: from the Acropolis in the forum, a path of discovery of the idea of “architectural recycling.”The second meeting will start exactly where the first path was stopped to point out the historical continuity of the sites that will be visited but also the unchanged desire to be enchanted by the layered history of the city. The topic we are going to tackle will be the splendor of the Acropolis which was first Greek and then Roman, its disintegration and the subsequent architectural recycling that has led to the unusual beauty creations such as the bell tower of Pietrasanta and the S. Paolo Maggiore church .
